Missed Retail’s BIG Show? No need to fear--Revel has you covered.
ECommerce was a major talking point this year, as merchants strive to keep up with online sales and retailers. Innovation and technology were major highlights this year, with the emphasis on brick and mortar stores enhancing the customer experience.
Here are the top 3 highlights for those of you who missed this year’s BIG Show:
The BIG Show keeps getting bigger. This year, NRF’s show extended to over 200,000 square feet of New York’s Javits Center, and had more than 30,000 people in attendance. Of the 500 exhibiting companies, Revel and Epson’s booth was the only one to offer cronuts. Revel and Epson also showed off their combined POS solution, showing the ways in which Revel’s sleek POS was made even more efficient with Epson’s reliable and fast printers.
2014 is the year for innovation & growth. Retailers are planning on investing more dollars in technology, according to IHL Group president Greg Buzek. This is not just a move towards better and faster, but towards streamlining and enhancing the customer experience in brick and mortars. One way to get the ball rolling in your retail store is to start using a mobile POS unit. That way, your staff can go directly to the customer, helping them find the right size or color in moments.
Implementing Retail Technology. Consumer-facing mobile apps are on the rise, with large retailers such as Guess Inc. rolling them out for their clientele. CRM is also being widely-implemented, which helps build your customer base. An integrated CRM system also streamlines your retail store’s loyalty program, drawing in new customers and increasing the satisfaction of existing ones.
