The National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show 2017 in Chicago has come to an end and it was a hit! We’ve digested amazing food, spoke with thousands of foodservice professionals, and demo’d our platform to the entire spectrum of the food-service industry.
Standing at 70 by 30 feet, the Revel booth was proudly designed and executed by our team. The booth was home to educational theater sessions, customer samplers, demo stations, and of course, our team of product experts and leadership.
In case you missed out, no need to worry, because here are the key highlights and takeaways from the NRA Show 2017:
Lights, Camera, Action!
This year, we unveiled our very own theatre inside our booth; and we had a packed agenda. Revel hosted sessions about all things food-service including, business management best practices and discussions on restaurant and quick service technology.
1. Revel In Your Success
We want you to not just know about Revel’s offerings, but also make the very most of it. Over the four day event, we delivered educational sessions on topics from online ordering and inventory management, to securing your store and expanding restaurant locations.
One of the buzzed about sessions was presented by our Director of Marketing. She talked about the connected service industry and how Revel fits in it. Coinciding with the talk, we unveiled our Revel wheel, which showcases Revel as a platform, and how our software works in conjunction with connected services and third party integrations. And once you have the Revel basics down, you can integrate additional functionalities to increase revenue, drive efficiency, and delight your customers with our open API platform.
2. Customer Spotlights
Hearing from our customers and having them share their stories and experiences as business owners was a unique and impactful opportunity for the attendees, like-minded owners, and Revel customers. In addition to servicing each customer, we strive to build and foster a community within our customer base. And for them (and us!) to learn, we featured speakers from Hungry Hobo, Sliderz, Beermiscuous, and Molly’s Cupcakes – who spoke about business best practices and their Revel partnership.
Our customers described how they standardized operations, expanded locations, and use technology to prosper.
Tasty Treats
Over the four days, major Revel customers Baked By Melissa, Molly’s Cupcakes, and Cinnabon, passed out delicious treats at our booth and the attendees couldn’t get enough of them.
NRA Show 2017 delivered on unique, tasty foods and we sampled unapologetically. Here are some of our favorite trendy foods and drinks we tried at the show.
It is safe to say Revel at NRA Show 2017 was a huge success! We want to thank everyone who came by our booth and we already can’t wait for NRA 2018.
