A Look Back at Revelry 2019

Putting People in Point of Sale

Revel Systems provides world-class, cloud-based point of sale solutions, but what sets us apart is our people who deliver and support that technology. People are also what makes our annual Revelry conference such a special event. Through the conference, we have the opportunity to interact with our customers on a large scale and have meaningful discussions about how we can we deliver even more value for them. This year we were also delighted to have many of our partners in attendance, as they play a key role in helping us meet our client needs. If you weren’t able to attend Revelry in person this year—or if you were and simply want to relive the event highlights—here’s a look back at Revelry 2019:

Helping Customers Achieve Maximum Value

In today’s world digital advancements happen so quickly, merchants rarely have the time or capability to get full value from their technology. Our new Concierge Services address that issue. Introduced on the Revelry main stage by Revel Chief Customer Officer Leslie Leaf, Revel Concierge Services are designed to help customers implement new technology into their operations in a timely and effective fashion. The services, which are customizable to meet specific client needs, are also structured to help businesses strategically manage their growth, and in some cases, even outsource their point of sale (POS) administration. Interested clients can purchase Concierge Services as soon as November 2019.

Building Products with People In Mind

At Revelry, we provided updates on our new consumer-facing solutions—some of which are available in version 2.55 of our POS app—that leapfrog the competition in terms of creating an exceptional user experience. Designed with a completely customer-centric approach, our new Kiosk XT, Customer Display System (CDS) XT, and Online Ordering XT solutions were demoed throughout the event. Initial feedback from our customers was extremely positive.

Helping Restaurant Workers in Need

We were also fortunate to have an incredible keynote speaker who helped us kick-off the event. Jen Hidinger-Kendrick—co-founder of two highly regarded Atlanta organizations, Staplehouse and Giving Kitchen—enthralled the audience with her gripping story about the origins behind both organizations. Conference attendees also got to learn about the thousands of restaurant workers in need who have directly benefited from Giving Kitchen support.

Celebrating with People

It’s not a user conference without a little bit of fun. On Tuesday night we brought together all the customers and partners at Revelry for an unforgettable evening at Mercedes Benz Stadium, home of MLS champions Atlanta United and (almost) Super Bowl champions Atlanta Falcons. It was an incredible experience to be on the field where the Super Bowl was played last February, and to see our customer and partner logos next to Revel branding on the halo board.

Revelry 2019 celebration

We are already excited for Revelry 2020 and look forward to getting together with our clients and partners again. In the meantime, stay up-to-date on the latest Revel happenings through our blog and social media channels (linked in the icons at the bottom of this page).
