Another Revelry, another two-days packed with events, workshops, and keynote speakers. This year brought Revel iPad POS System customers and thought leaders from around the world together to learn, grow, connect, and celebrate. Best known as the co-host of The Chew and former Top Chef competitor – Carla shared her rich experience in the food world to the crowd at Revelry. Carla has built a phenomenal brand and spoke about the importance of originality, innovation, and ambition.

Learning With Revel

This year, we had a number of different sessions, workshops, and stations designed to help you make the most of your Point of Sale Software Features. We had sessions recapping our latest release as well as sessions dedicated to sharing the near and long-term product roadmap that business owners and operators can get excited for. For a more hands-on approach, our product team led workshops and surveys to gather as much feedback and provide support to those that attended the workshops.

Notably, David Kim, the CEO of Gen Korean shared his secrets to being successful and creating an exemplary customer experience. Other customer speakers included Flynn McLain from GolfTec, Mark Knowles from The Growler Guys, Calvin Carie from Copper Moon World Coffee, among many others!

The Restaurant Showdown

Our 2nd annual Restaurant Showdown called for restaurant owners and aspiring restaurateurs to pitch how $10,000 could be used to launch or improve their restaurant. From an exclusively online pizza restaurant to a crepe patisserie, contestants from around the country shared their stories. This year’s winner comes to us from Rockwall, Texas. Book Club Cafe won over the judges with their nostalgic dishes, scratch-made ingredients, high-quality coffee, and an immense sense of community.

Of course, we could never forget to mention the fabulous annual celebration at the Terra Gallery. It’s hard to believe that it’s been only been eight years, but it’s just as hard to believe it’s already been eight years!
