Revel can track your ingredient level inventory, and lets the user, like yourself, dive deeper into tracking products within their business. Let's say you own a restaurant and bar, and you would like to better track the alcohol inventory at your establishment. When someone orders a vodka cranberry for example, the system will subtract 1 ounce of vodka, 5 ounces of cranberry juice, and 1 lime wedge. This precise level of tracking will give you a better understanding of how many bottles of liquor and limes you should be going through based on the amount of times a specific drink has been prepared.
Getting started is easy, and all the tools can be found in the Revel Management Console. You just have to create all the ingredients that you would like to track, and the system will automatically take care of the deductions based on point of sale purchases.
The tracking is not just limited to food or beverage items either. You can keep track of items like plastic or paper bags, plastic utensils, plastic picks, straws, etc. The world is your oyster!
