Most recently, Carla Hall was the co-host of ABC’s Emmy award-winning, popular lifestyle series “The Chew”. She is most recognized as a competitor on Bravo’s “Top Chef” and “Top Chef: All Stars”, where she won over the audience and judges with her dishes that blended her classical French training and Southern upbringing.

And like any great chef, Carla took her love of cooking to pen and paper. Carla authored Cooking with Love and Carla's Comfort Foods. Her third cookbook, Carla Hall's Soul Food: Everyday and Celebration, available October 23rd, features 145 delectable recipes that redefine and elevate comfort cuisine.

Carla traveled to Mozambique with CARE, the poverty-fighting organization, to learn and raise awareness about global hunger and malnutrition. Carla connected with the women of the community and learned how they feed their family and build their community. With 795 million people around the world hungry, a majority of which are women and children – it’s critical to raise awareness and come together to curb the global epidemic.
